Day 14

Image
The day the ‘fuck it’ wall was hit. Insulated and carpeted the of sides wall, installed electrical panel 2, 2x2 port usb chargers, 2x ‘fag lighter’ chargers. Inverter is installed, only a 300w but easy enough to upgrade if I need to, extended to panel 2 so its accessible from the bed. She’s getting there but motivation and money are running out.  And the enthusiasm is nowhere to be seen currently. Getting a quote on the cushions for the seat, and have to figure out how to do roof lining next, then its cabinet, fridge, sink, cooker, so plumbing time - yay.. Noticed the radio is not getting a good signal, wonder if the ariel wire has come out, guess its dashboard off time - again.

Day 11.5

Oooops just found this, I'll slot it in somewhere.

Day 13

Image
Another good day, flooring laid, seatbelts bolted in, version 2 of the electrics panel, there will be a version 2.5 and 3.

Day 12

Image
Busy day, electrics in place including dual isolator (split charge relay as well, I’m paranoid). Putting the water container box in, it will be insulated and waterproof, then it’ll be a box for the gas bottle and some panelling. Roll on next week, wife’s promised me some cushions for the seat.

Day 11

Image
Rock and roll base is in, huge m12 bolts hold it down, spread plates underneath.

Day 9 and 10

Image
MOT time, exhaust, ball joint and horn.  No advisories and rot free.  However took a week for the ball joint to turn up so with a spat of illness thrown in its been a little slim on the progress. But we now have a floor, not just any floor but a triple insulated Mac daddy of a floor, the plywood area you can see to the rear, there is a plan for that, all will become apparent. For my next trick, the base of the rock and roll bed will be attached.

Day 8

Image
So after being rained off, I had a fairly productive day. Reversing cam(s) fitted. Dashcam Fitted Seats, carpets done, dashboard back together. I'll get the windscreen wipers back on this week, then its off for a MOT, yay.
